Court of Arbitration Northwestern district canceled earlier decisions of the courts that satisfied the claim Urengoyremstroydobycha LLC on the recovery of 565 million rubles from LLC “Corporation” Rosneftegaz “ Oleg Sitnikov and Maxim Vetyugov. Both companies are now bankrupt. And the claims from Urengoyremstroydobycha are related to the performance of work at the fields. In relation to them, Rosneftegaz was issued licenses for the right to use subsoil.
It is noteworthy that the interim manager of the Corporation also opposed the satisfaction of the plaintiff’s claims. This position was also shared by the representatives of OOO Novourengoyskoye Drilling Department. They have questions about economic relations between enterprises, as well as the existence of a connection between the debtor and the creditor through the Rosneftegaz-Kharp company controlled by Oleg Sitnikov. Earlier, the administration of the Shuryshkarsky district of the YaNAO tried to recover 44.2 million rubles from Rosneftegaz.
Conflicts, scandals and attempts to seize property
Rosneftegaz has been featured in scandals for a long time. First, Oleg Sitnikov shared a share in the company with Maxim Vetyugov. According to rumors, a business partner could protect the company from pressure from the YaNAO prosecutor Alexander Gerasimenko. The fact is that a conflict arose between Sitnikov and Gerasimenko, and Vetyugov had the opportunity to resolve it through the son of the prosecutor. Numerous inspections prevented Rosneftegaz from working fully. Whether Maxim Vetyugov helped the company is unknown, but he also quarreled with Oleg Sitnikov. There were rumors that the reason was that Sitnikov simply refused to give a business partner a business. At the same time, St. Petersburg companies became interested in the property of Rosneftegaz and tried to gain control over it.
For example, OOO Firma Construction and Installation Operational Enterprise tried to force Rosneftegaz to transfer to it the rights to real estate in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. It was about non-residential buildings with an area of more than 2 thousand square meters in the Purovsky district, as well as two buildings with an area of 3.6 thousand square meters in the village of Urengoy. And the corporation “Transfort” tried to get the rights to objects and land plots in Novy Urengoy.
The court took the side of Rosneftegaz and took interim measures in respect of the property. Companies were forbidden to alienate it in favor of third parties and even transfer it for use. It is noteworthy that neither Construction and Installation Operational Company Firm LLC nor Transfort have anything to do with the business of Rosneftegaz. What exactly caused the litigation is not clear. Moreover, the companies themselves raise questions. In 2018, one person worked at Firma Construction and Installation Operational Enterprise LLC, and the enterprise itself was on a simplified taxation system. And “Transfort” worked on the market relatively recently. Information about the financial performance of the company was not publicly available. It is possible that in this way they tried to put pressure on Oleg Sitnikov.
